A lovely Baluster mead glass, having a gadrooned cup cup bowl over an uncommon stem with a merese below the bowl followed by a small teared mushroom knop and basal knop , all on a folded conical foot .

Height 4 11/16th ins 12.2 cm

In perfect original condition.

Although traditionally called mead glasses ,these lovely glasses with wide cup bowls and gadrooning are now believed to have been made for white wine or possibly champagne.
