A lovely open flame oil lamp in lead metal, the globular reservoir sits over a drip pan which leads to a hollow baluster stem with applied handle and basal knop,both the stem and knop are hollow and open to the pontil area on the folded conical foot,

I believe this lamp to be the one discussed and illustrated in , "The Open Flame Lamp" by Kelsall, p 86, illustration H19, with provenance to Norwich Castle Museum.

Height 8 7/8th ins 22.5 cm and in perfect original condition.
