A lovely tall Balustriod wine glass of so called Kitcat type,having a drawn trumpet bowl over plain stem with a beaded inverted baluster knop at the base , all on a plain conical foot ,

An uncommon variation of the Kitcat type,having a beaded kmop , most are plain.

Although always referred to as Kitcat type glasses , they in fact do not resemble those illustrated in the period paintings on the club members with glasses. but it is a name that has stuck.

A very elegant and tall wine glass in perfect original condition .
