An excellent double series opaque twist cordial with an uncommon ovoid bowl moulded to the lower half over a finely executed stem, all on a plain conical foot which has the number 824 underneath which suggests it once belonged to the renowned Walter Smith Collection.

Barrington Haynes coined the term "short cordial" to distinguish these glasses from the more usually seen tall cordials.
