A very uncommon short cordial glass or possibly a gin glass ,however there is no contemporary evidence for such titles , most of which were Victorian inventions and without further embellishment such as engraved hops and barley for ales or apples for cider etc the precise intention for many glasses remains unsure.

This lovely example has a cordial capacity round funnel bowl over an inverted baluster stem with basal knop,all on a folded conical foot.

A very uncommon form in perfect original condition.
