A fine heavy baluster goblet with elegant round funnel bowl over a teared wide angular knop and basal knop with conical folded foot.

A glass of the same form is illustrated in "A Wine Lover's Glasses the A C Hubbard Collection" plate 30 and was sold at Bonhams, lot 46 nov 2011 (though incorrectly described as a mushroom knop).

A superb early goblet in pristine condition.
