A very large and early heavy baluster goblet c1700, (possibly as little earlier), having a round funnel bowl over an angular knop ,true baluster with tear and cushion knop below,all standing on a widely folded foot ,the wide fold would suggest an early date when decisions were still being made whether the fold should be thin in the "facon de venise" style (like the Acorn knop listed) or far more substantial to give more protection to the foot edge before settling to the standard fold width which is most commonly seen .

An excellent large goblet in original condition.
