An unusual and rare Jacobite air twist goblet having a large thistle bowl over a single series multi spiral air twist stem,all on a plain conical foot,

The bowl is engraved with a beautiful eight petalled rose,a closed bud and leaves.

The unusual form of this glass including the thistle bowl could suggest a Scottish origin.

An identical goblet was sold by Delomosne and Son Ltd in their Seton Veitch Collection sale in 2006

Another identical goblet was recently sold by Bonhams London (£3000 inc fees)

A superb example of this rare form in perfect condition.
