A rare set of six Jacobite ale or wine flutes having tall funnel bowls featuring the heraldic rose closed and open buds and a moth over red and white colour twist stems ,all on plain conical feet,

Most likely by engraver F in the nomenclature of Dr Seddon.

A superb original set , which have had minor restoration to remove chips from some the feet.

An identical set was sold by Lyon and Turnbull in Edinburgh on May 2nd 2018 lot 10 for £6500.00 inc buyers premium.
