A Jacobite plain stem firing dram glass, having an ogee bowl engraved with a heraldic rose and closed bud , on a thick firing foot with a single terrace.

Height 3 1/16th ins 7.8 cm

You would think that drams/firing glasses would be the obvious choice for clubs and societies to toast the health of the cause, however they are found much less frequently than wine glasses.

An excellent example in perfect original condition probably by engraver "E" in the nomenclature of Dr Seddon.
