A rare 17th c wine glass having a large round funnel bowl over a merese and knopped hollow stem, all on a very thinly folded conical foot.

Inspection with an ultra violet lamp reveals a strong presence of lead which would suggest an English origin though the Netherlands is not impossible, the form though is more suggestive of an English origin and of "Single Flint" type.
