An Engraved German goblet attributed to Glucksburg in Saxony, engraved for the Dutch market the thistle bowl with solid base is decorated with a farm scene and has the title "T GROEYEN EN BLOEYEN VAN OSSEN EN KOEYEN.( the rearing and prospering of oxen and cows);

The bowl base is facet cut and over a pair of cushion knops and a teared inverted baluster knop stem all cut with olives and hexagonal facets and standing on a folded conical foot.


A splendid tall example of this not uncommon scene in superb original condition
